Pete Kilmartin’s 39 year history in the business aviation industry combines these two traits in a way that helps ensure his customers get the highest level of service in the industry.

Pete started working with Kal-Aero in 1973 while attending Western Michigan University. After graduating with a BS in Aviation Management and Technology and an Airframe and Powerplant Technician’s license, he spent several years managing different groups, and developed the Customer Service department for the company.

Pete has helped aircraft buyers design and carry out well over one hundred pre-purchase inspections. He worked with his customers to ensure the aircraft they were buying were properly reviewed, and were ready for completing their intended mission.

When Duncan Aviation bought Kal-Aero in 1998, Pete sat on the Senior Management Team for several years, and helped guide the company into the new century.

Pete retired from Duncan Aviation in 2005 after a thirty two year career, and has since been helping clients as an aircraft broker. When acquiring an aircraft, he puts his extensive experience to work for his customers by helping them understand which aircraft represent the best value. Sellers appreciate Pete’s reputation for hard work, integrity and extensive marketing efforts, and his ability to ensure their aircraft are both visible and properly represented in the marketplace.
